An Open Day is an ideal occasion for an initial visit, and is designed to give a broad overview of the school.

Virtual Visits

Visiting the school and meeting the girls is usually the best way to find out what makes Roedean special; visitors often comment on the dynamic, positive, and happy atmosphere of the school, as well as the open and relaxed manner of the girls. Regretfully, at this time, we are unable to offer an in-person visit, but are delighted to offer a range of options in place of this to allow you to get a feel for the School and give you the opportunity to 'meet' some of the staff virtually.

Virtual Open Day

An Open Day is an ideal occasion for an initial visit, and it is designed to give you a broad overview of the school. The verdict from one of our parents at a recent Open Day was ‘Gobsmackingly fantastic!’ and we are proud that the girls and the staff present the school wonderfully, and the girls come across as natural and happy. Usually, during Open Day, you would have the opportunity to explore Roedean, hear from some of the students and the Headmaster, and also experience some incredible performances by the girls. We have tried to recreate this experience as best we can in the current circumstances for you and hope you enjoy learning more about Roedean at our Virtual Open Day.

Individual Meetings

In light of the current circumstances, we are offering the opportunity for you to 'meet' with one of the following members of staff to give you a more detailed and personalised view of Roedean and to hear what makes it truly special:

  • A member of the Admissions team and/or the Director of Admissions

  • The Head of Year or Head of Key Stage

  • The Director of Sixth Form

  • One of the Academic Heads of Department

  • A member of the Boarding team and/or the Director of Boarding

  • The Head of Co-Curricular

  • A member of the Pastoral team and/or the Head of Pastoral

  • The Head of Professional & Educational Guidance

A meeting is suited to those who have seen our Virtual Open Day and are interested in learning more about what we offer in detail. To enquire about an individual meeting, please fill out our enquiry form

Virtual Challenges

As we are currently unable to welcome applicants to our site, this year we have arranged a programme of virtual challenges for those applying for Years 7-9 2021 entry.

If you have either enquired or registered for a Year 7-9 2021 entry place, you will be invited to take part in our virtual challenges. You do not need to take part in all (though you are welcome to), just one or two that interest you. You will be given the opportunity to discuss any of the challenges you participate in at a later date during interview.

If you are interested in taking part, please fill out our enquiry form, indicating your interest in the challenges at the top of the form.

Showcase Your Talents

In addition to the above, we will be offering a series of masterclasses to allow students to showcase their talents in line with our scholarship programme of Art, Dance, Drama, Music and Sport. More to follow.
