    Director of Sports

    Required from September 2012.  The School seeks to appoint a Director of Sports to lead all aspects of the PE and Sporting programme.   This is a newly created, high profile position which offers an exciting opportunity to provide inspirational leadership in promoting all aspects of sports for students.  As well as being an excellent administrator and teacher, the successful candidate will be expected to take a lead role in the strategic planning and delivery of the further development of sport throughout the school.

    Salary based on Roedean Scale dependent on qualifications and experience plus management allowance.

    Head  of English

    Required from September 2012.  A dynamic and experienced teacher is required to teach English at all levels and to lead a successful department.  The post carries with it the role 'Teaching and Learning Head of Department'.  The post holder is expected to be an excellent teacher with a real interest in contributing to the strategic development of the school's wider teaching and learning activities.

    Temporary Non-Residential House Assistants (until 7 July 2012)

    Required as soon as possible, enthusiastic individuals who have a good rapport with young people for temporary House Assistant (full and part time) posts assisting in running Main School mixed-aged boarding houses.  These are non-teaching posts. 

    Candidates should possess good organizational, administrative and communication skills and have knoweldge and understanding of the needs of young people.  An interest in pastoral care and a commitment to boarding school life are essential as are good ICT skills.

    Hours: Post 1 - 24 per week; Post 2 - 48 per week. 

    Salary based on Roedean NTS Points 13 - 15 (currently £15,877 - £16,504) per annum pro rata.  .
