Minibus

Roedean has a fleet of modern, comfortable minibuses which run on seven routes around Sussex. Our trusty drivers, who are all CRB checked, work the same routes all year so our girls will quickly get to know them. They all carry mobiles in case of an unexpected change in circumstances.

The minibuses arrive at school at 8.15am and leave at either 6.15pm (Monday and Friday) or 7.15pm (Tuesday - Thursday). This means the girls can do all their extra-curricular activities and still be home in time for dinner.

Each year the routes change slightly, so we can pick up and drop off our girls as close to home as possible.  At the moment our routes are as follows:

Brighton 1

Southwick – Hove - Brighton Station - School

Brighton 2

Hove – Westdene – Withdean – School

Brighton 3

Wivelsfield – Clayton – Patcham – School

North

Warninglid – Burgess Hill – Albourne – Kemp Town – School

Northeast 1

Horsted Keynes – Newick – Plumpton Green – School

Northeast 2

Alfriston – Bowship roundabout – Ringmer – Barcombe Cross – Lewes - School

East

Eastbourne – East Dean – Seaford – Saltdean – Rottingdean - School

Prices

Tickets cost £2.50 per journey in the Brighton area and £4.30 out of Brighton. You will be billed at the end of each term.

Minibus Booking Form

The minibuses are shared with the junior school. Each bus has 16 seats, and these are always filled, so we do recommend early booking.
