Discovery Day

Discovery Day, which takes place each November, is the first formal admissions event for UK-based girls joining Years 7 and 9 the following September. It is one of the highlights of the year.

Each year has a theme: in 2012 it was Romeo and Juliet. Applicants uncovered the mystical Elizabethan world behind the tale with the History department. They made a Venetian-style mask with the Art department and then they raided the costume department to recreate some of the story's most important tableaux in the Theatre.

During the day the girls have a short interview and sit a Non-Verbal Reasoning test so that we are able to issue a conditional offer after the event.

You must already be registered to attend Discovery Day (places are limited and demand is usually high).
