Roedean sends 400 pupils to Primary School through Cecily's Fund

15/04/2011

The two events which managed to raise these funds were held last year, drumming up huge audiences and support. 'Roedean's Got Talent' featured celebratory judges, such as Piers Morgan, while PE Teachers Jane Chandler and Jane Carnaghan joined a team running in the 2010 Brighton Marathon.

With the money raised from these exciting events, Roedean, and its generous supporters, was able to send 400 Zambian pupils to Primary School for a whole year.

The charity, Cecily's Fund, works to help Zambian children who have been orphaned through AIDs to be able to go to school, provide support to those wanting to go on to become teachers, and hold workshops on how to stay healthy. Roedean believes this is a great cause, and are very proud to be able to support Cecily's Fund.
