Roedean girls win place on Goldman Sachs programme

Toke Soyebo and Joyce Ip are joining the next generation of successful city women at Goldman Sachs’ prestigious London training programme this half term.

Toke and Joyce fought off stiff competition from hundreds of other girls from across the country to win their places. Goldman Sachs has recently been recognised as the sixth best in the world to work for, according to Fortune magazine’s annual ranking.

The two-day Goldman Sachs A-Level Girls Programme is designed to introduce the UK’s brightest female students to the world of financial services through tailor-made presentations, interactive case studies and skills sessions. The girls will also meet with industry professionals to learn more about potential career opportunities.

Toke said: "I am very excited to have been selected as the programme will give me superb insights into management consultancy.”

Head of Careers, Ms Abra Reid, said, “The Goldman Sachs programme is one of the many partnerships Roedean is involved with to ensure that our students reach their potential.”
