Before the end of term, thirty-three Six One girls took part in interview workshops led by outside company, Oxbridge Interviews. This is an extremely well-respected, not-for-profit organisation, run by an Oxford tutor who sends recent Oxbridge graduates into schools to educate prospective candidates about the interview process.
The girls who took part seemed to have found the workshops very useful; indeed, the student evaluation after the workshops strongly indicated that participants felt much better prepared for the interview experience. Workshop leaders focused on getting the girls to apply their existing knowledge to enable them to answer questions to which they did not know the answer – a crucial component of success at an Oxbridge interview.
Parents who are interested in using Oxbridge Applications for one-to-one interview preparation should follow http://www.oxbridgeinterviews.co.uk/oxbridge-interview-training.htmlfor more information.
