Mr May leaps into beans at RJS Spring Fair

    27/05/2010

Roedean Junior School opened its doors to the leafy Kemp Town community at the weekend with a fabulous Spring Fair to raise money for St Barnabas House in Worthing and Chestnut Tree House near Arundel.

Almost two hundred people followed Superman and Batman back to the Eastern Road site to browse the food, craft, toy and jewellery stalls and have a cooling drink at the Hudson and Bridge pop-up cafe.

On a perfect sunny day, the bouncy castle and traditional games were popular attractions, but the undisputed highlight was the charity Bath of Beans. Hats off to Mr May, who bravely leapt in to the tub of beans and raised over £270.
