The Head, staff and pupils at Roedean Junior School are delighted to have been praised as a ‘stunningly good prep school’ in the latest issue of The Good Schools Guide which arrived at bookshops across the UK this week.
The in-depth, impartial review by experienced educationalists comments: “Roedean’s own purpose-built brand new junior school is in the heart of Kemp Town... one road up from the Brighton promenade, in the leafiest, quietest and most desirable bit of Brighton. It is a stunningly good little prep in its own right and one which this most attractive of Brighton 'suburbs' should take to its heart.’
Huw May, the Head, is thrilled that the school has received such a full and glowing report. ‘It is very encouraging that the energy, vision and hard work from both the staff and pupils into making this such a successful educational community has been recognised in this way. I am particularly delighted that the Guide noted our inspirational teaching.’
The Good Schools Guide is recognised as the leading guide to independent schools. Their printed and online directory is relied upon by thousands of parents as they choose the best school for their children in the UK and overseas.
The review concludes: "Roedean Junior School is a good little school and it opens doors to a good notable one.’
