    Hanging Hooke

    11/05/2011

Christopher Wren loved him... Isaac Newton loathed him... Robert Hooke, polymath genius of the 17th century, provoked intense loyalty, controversy, jealousy and hatred.

Performed by Chris Barnes of Take the Space at the Roedean Theatre, this tale of intrigue and betrayal explores the captivating seventeenth century world of new science and discovery.

The audience were kept on the edge of their seats by this stunning performance which involved Chris Barnes even standing on his head whilst talking for one and a half minutes.
