Roedean was given ‘Highly Commended’ at Batchellor Monkhouse’s inaugural Future in Farming project when the winners were announced at the South of England Show at Ardingly on Friday.
The Lower Four team of Emily Bishop, Elysia Holmes, Caitlin Nathan-Maister, Emily Nicholas and Caitlin Scott worked together brilliantly, guided by Mrs Jonnes and Mrs Haney. Together they created a project, 3D model and presentation illustrating biodiverse, eco-friendly and alternative farming in the new South Downs National Park.
Batchellor Monkhouse’s Senior Partner, Leo Hickish, praised the team for their very thorough research, fantastic presentation skills and incredibly detailed model.
There will be more details of the project in the next edition of Sussex Life, and in the 2011 Roedean magazine.
Many congratulations to the overall winners, Seaford Head Community College.
