Based on three decades of exploration in China, How Man described an area of China few have heard of. His illustrated lecture portrayed the geographic, biological and cultural diversity in China.
How Man led the audience through some of the most remote corners of the world. He showed the winter landscape where China’s last reindeer herding tribe live and the first time discovery of the Tibetan antelope’s calving ground. He explained how lost cities along the ancient Silk Road were located by the images from the Space Shuttle, and how a scientific source for the Yangtze river was recently redefined.
