Roedean Junior School has not yet been inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). The last inspection, in September 2004, was of the nursery and it took place when the school was still part of St Marys Hall.
It concluded that:
‘Provision for nursery education is of high quality and children are making very good progress towards all the early learning goals.
The quality of teaching is very good. Staff listen to children, praise their contributions and ask questions that encourage children to think. Children respond well to staff and behave very well.
Children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is fostered appropriately.’
