Junior school application process

How to Apply

Roedean Junior School applications are straightforward. It is quite a thorough process to ensure a good fit between your child and our educational ethos and teaching style. However, it is not complex and can be completed in a short time.

Here is how to apply to a private school like Roedean:

1.    First, request a prospectus.

2.    Complete the registration form and return it with the administration fee (£100).

3.    Come and visit with your son or daughter. You can either come to an Open Day or arrange an individual visit

4.    Next, it is time to leave your child with us for a Taster Day with the class he or she will be joining.

5.    Congratulations! The nest step is to receive an offer from the Headmaster which is accepted by paying the deposit (£600 or £1000, depending on the year of entry).

6.    Finally, the joining papers will be sent, including details of the uniform, the minibus and your son or daughter’s House allocation (Houses are for children in Year 1 upwards).

If the class is full, then your child’s name will be put on a waiting list and vacancies allocated strictly in order of resgistration.

If you feel ready to invest in a great private school education, applications are taken all year round. Simply request a prospectus to find out more. If you already have some queries you would like to check, contact Roedean.
