Academic excellence at the Junior School

Roedean’s emphasis on developing a love of learning starts in the Junior School, where we expect the highest achievement for all.

Each child has a personalised learning plan tailored to their individual needs.

As we are an independent junior school we can invest in specialist subject teachers so that every student is taught by an expert in ICT, Music, PE, Art, Swimming and Design Technology.

There is a full primary curriculum, with special emphasis on music - for example, we can offer free strings tuition to every child in Years 5 and 6.
