Open sea, a dramatic sky and the distant horizon: Roedean’s ethos comes from its stunning location overlooking the English Channel.
Despite regularly achieving some fabulous A level results, Roedean is not driven by a one-dimensional hunt for academic glory. Instead, we believe that the job of great independent schools is to develop the spirit, values and individual personalities of their students. Our pupils are therefore exposed to a rich variety of cultures in a creative, yet purposeful, atmosphere.
Roedean is an independent day and boarding school for girls aged 11-18. The spacious, light and airy campus is just outside Brighton in East Sussex. Find out more about our girls' boarding school or try the Roedean experience first hand by visiting us on one of our Open Days.
